The positioning of the hurdles must be agreed by the hurdles coach with the other coaches.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eSprint drills and training must be carried out in lanes 3-6. \u003cstrong\u003eThe sprint coach must advise the other coaches of the intended sections of track to be used for sprint drills and training.\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eThe number of athletes in a single endurance group to be set by the coach. As guidance, more than 12 in a single group should be avoided at busy times.\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eWhen finishing an effort always be aware of athletes behind you and, if necessary, look over your shoulder. Do not stop suddenly. Slow down gradually and move to one side without making any sudden movements. Always attempt to finish an effort by leaving the track on the left, i.e. into the infield, \u003cstrong\u003eDO NOT VEER ACROSS THE LANES TO THE OUTSIDE LANES as this may dangerously impede faster runners trying to overtake.\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eWhen jogging recoveries, warming-up or cooling-down in the outside lanes, pay special attention to any hurdles or sprint groups using these lanes and stay out of their way accordingly. \u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eChildren under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times \u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eNo playing in the sand-pits or removing sand from them\u003cbr\u003e \u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eNo playing on the jump beds.\u003cbr\u003e \u003c/li\u003e\u003cli\u003eCorrect footwear must be worn on the track at all times.
