South London Harriers Triathlon Club
South London Harriers Triathlon Club was founded in 2003 to enable triathletes and other multisport athletes living around Croydon and east Surrey to enjoy triathlon and work towards their goals in a friendly, encouraging club environment. As a section of South London Harriers that is open to all members of the running club, we also aim to offer runners within the club the chance to try out triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon.
We are open to members of all abilities and specialisms, from those taking part in multisport for the first time, through athletes who concentrate on two of the three disciplines, and sprint triathletes, to GB age groupers and Kona Ironmen.
We're based in Coulsdon, right on the southern edge of Greater London, with easy access to great running and cycling countryside, a newly opened floodlit running track, and a clubhouse and bar, open two evenings a week.
Currently we have around 70 members training with us, and offer two open water and one coached pool swim sessions a week, a large and popular track running session and two road running sessions a week, and access to the large Addiscombe cycle club rides. In the winter we replace the open water swims with a second coached pool session, plus we enter a cross-country race nearly every weekend. We also have a couple of groups who go mountain biking through the year.
We offer a number of one-off events during the year including a popular training day in March and a series of club challenges and social events.
The club has a strong record of supporting members in their triathlon goals, bringing through new triathletes to become age-groupers and Ironmen. This year, a number of club members are targeting the Hever Festival of Endurance in July for their first half ironman races, while we are bringing on a number of members towards representing Great Britain or Ireland in age-group international races during the year. Meanwhile we are also enjoying meeting new members starting off on their triathlon adventure and giving it a try.

We welcome you to come along and see if you like what we do, before you commit to joining.
Come and join us on one of our swim or run sessions! You can train with us for up to three sessions without joining to see if you like what we're offering. You don't need to register in advance.
