End of Season Supper
The Cross Country End-of-Season Supper will be held at the clubhouse in Coulsdon on Saturday 17th March. See Mark Burtwell for details (and tickets!).
A Range of Social Events
SLH hold several social events throughout the year.
There is usually a dinner after either the National or Southern Championships when runners share their experiences of the day with the assembled company.
The end of the XC season is marked by a supper when the various cups and medals are presented to both seniors and juniors.
A Quiz night occurs once a year as well as the Xmas party and a Summer event.
The training weekend in Swanage in November is very much a social as well as a running weekend.
And, of course, the bar is open every Tuesday and Thursday after training for a sociable get together.
Special annual Highlight Pub Run - July
In July each year, traditionally on a Thursday night, the club goes on a 16 mile pub run taking in some of the best running routes to co-incide with some great pubs! It is quite a spectacle and many guest runners join us for this amazing experience.
