SLH welcomes new and prospective members to join us on training sessions.

Coulsdon Clubhouse

Tuesday 6.45 pm Structured Training Session (fast)
Tuesday 7.00 pm Medium pace training run 7-8 miles
Tuesday 7.15 pm Slower pace training run 6-8 miles
Thursday 6.30 pm Interval session for men and women - all standards
Sunday 9.30 am Long training run


Crystal Palace

Tuesday 7.00 - 8.30 pm Young Athletes 8+ welcome
Supervised Sprints, Hurdles & Middle Distance
Supervised Throws - training only
Thursday 7.00 - 8.00 pm Supervised Sprints & Middle Distance
Sunday 10.30 - 12.00 noon Supervised Sprints & Throws
Jumps by arrangement only


Central/West End London (Horseguards Parade/Green Park/Hyde Park)

There is a mixed group of runners who meet at lunchtimes during the week for a run/session in Hyde Park. There are two meeting places:

Meet 1 at 12:30 by the war memorial opposite Horseguards Parade.

Tuesday Hyde Park Interval session
Usually 8 x 2 minutes with 1 min recovery
Wednesday Steady run - Hyde Park/Serpentine Loop
Thursday Hyde Park Interval session
Usually 4 x 5 minutes with 2 min recovery
Friday Steady run - Hyde Park/Serpentine Loop


City (Chiswell St/Bunhill Row)

There is a group of runners including several SLH members who meet at lunchtimes during the week for a run/session along the Regents Canal East towards Victoria Park.
