Due to an unfortunate series of events, we lost our domain yesterday, having to temporarily browse the website using the http://www.slhtriclub.org.uk/~southlon/ address .

Today we took ownership of southlondonharriers.org. The site moved swiftly over to the domain, and the new task is to try to spread the word of our new web address http://www.southlondonharriers.org/. We'd like to request that people change their book marks, and anyone linking to the website from another, to make the appropriate changes to their web pages. Thanks.

Well done to all who ran and supported at the Orion vs. SLH Mob Match today. I believe it was the most we've turned out for the Orion Mob Match in a few years, with 41 runners turning out. SEAA Road Relays, 25 September 2005: Aldershot Senior Women event

The women's fielded one team yesterday and after initial nerves that we were only going to be three, new joiner Nicky McGarry brought us home into 20th place (A teams). Nicky broke down on the A3 and had to be rescued by one of the (supposed to be) very nice men from the AA. She however had to use her powers of persuasion to get him to work fast as his belief was if you were not going to win it did not matter much!!!

Christina ran well having the hard task on a classy fast first leg, Ruth had a good leg after completing a seasons best time in a 25mile bike TT the day before. I did good too, a bit slower than my best ever in 2003 but I was happy indeed.

Thanks to John for sorting us out, Sunday being his second time to Rushmoor in two days .... that's dedication!

Full results are on the site.

Men's Southern League track team hopeful of staying up The men finished in 3rd place at Plaistow in their final match of Division 3 South Southern league, which should be enough to avoid relegation and secure another year in the division. They finish the season second from bottom, level on points with East Grinstead, but with a far superior cumulative match points total. We await final confirmation from the league on whether it will be 1 down rather than the normal 2 since the league started the season with only 15 teams instead of the required 16. Full results.

SLH Tri club host Mob Match On Friday evening at Coulsdon College

First female was our Nice Ironman heroine, Ruth Hutton in a time of 20m39s. Full report and results please check out  the SLH Tri Club site
