Robbie James is obscured behind Belgrave's Roger Alsop (above) just
after the start. Robbie lead home on the first leg and SLH were never
out of pole position. SLH set a course record, beating the old Herne
Hill best by more than three minutes.
By the end of the race, the SLH lead had extended to more than two
minutes over Belgrave. Stuart Major (left) on last leg ran second
fastest time of the day.
