March 1st, 2008: SLH Schools Races

The annual Schools Races were held today on Farthing Downs. The 2 Primary Schools races in the morning had over 160 finishers and there were nearly 100 runners in the afternoon.

The Boys Primary race was won by Laurence Rook of Whyteleafe with the Billups’ sisters of Audley taking first and second in the Girls Race.

The winning teams were St. Aidan’s (Boys) and Parkhill (Girls).

In the afternoon races the team honours went to John Fisher (U/14), Oxted (U/16) and Judd (O/16). Individual winners were Connor Murphy of John Fisher, Sam Wade of Ardingly and Michael McManus of John Fisher.
