November 11th, 2008: Sportshall - Match 1 26th Oct
Posted by Ian Field at 8:01 amA really good turnout in the U13 age groups for the first competition on the Sportshall calendar. Some very good individual and team results as well. The event was enjoyed by all, and the 9 SLH teams came together well with great support for each other, and also from the large crowd.

August 10th, 2008: Southern Women’s League - Match 4 (26th July)
Posted by Ian Field at 1:35 pm4 matches, 4 wins !! The trip to Watford proved to be the hardest match so far, with a winning margin of just 7.5pts over the league’s 3rd placed team,Oxford City. The sprinters were the outstanding group this time, both Senior and Junior, dropping only 4pts in their 10 races.

July 24th, 2008: Young Athletes Promoted ! (Sun 20/07)
Posted by Ian Field at 11:03 pmA very close-up 2nd place in the last YAL match of the season has ensured the Young Athletes have gained promotion to Div 1 for next year. It was the turn of the girls this time to make the most of a windy day at Kingston, and lead the team home with some good contributions from a slightly below-strength Boys team. Well done all. Details to follow when I receive the results officially.

July 4th, 2008: Young Athletes Match 3 (22 June)
Posted by Ian Field at 12:21 pmGood day out in Kingston once again, as the Young Athletes finished a comfortable 2nd behind host club Kingston to consolidate 2nd place in the League. Promotion beckons barring complete disaster in the last match, although it is almost mathematically impossible for us to be caught, so very well done all !
