September 23rd, 2007: Southern Women’s League - Final T and F match

We have now achieved promotion to Div 1 !!  

Our strongest team of the season comfortably won the final match of the season, which included the team who eventually finished 2nd in the League. An outstanding performance, especially in the Seniors, who completed a clean sweep of all the flat track events from 100m to 3000m, except for the 3000m B string where we had no runner.

August 10th, 2007: Women’s Southern League Track and Field - Cheltenham

Another good all round performance by both senior women and junior girls secured 2nd place in this (distant) match. Thanks to Amy Mitchell for the DVD entertainment on the long coach journey. We are still in a promotion position, and a good turnout for the last match would be great. (more…)

June 2nd, 2007: Southern Women’s League, Match 3

Due to late withdrawals in the Seniors, we struggled in this match and could only manage 3rd place despite strong performances by the U15 Girls. ong trip to Bury St Edmunds does however keep us in with a shout of gaining promotion as we are now in 4th place, with 5 to go up.

March 25th, 2007: Eastleigh 10k - Natalie Harvey Takes Women’s Title

Natalie Harvey was 1st at the Eastleigh 10k in a fantastic time of 32m 56secs which takes Natalie to the top of womens rankings for 2007. Well done.

The best field ever, 342 finishers. 130 entries on the day but 44 pre entries obviously had better things to do. A good day for SLH but good to see other local clubs supporting the event and winning some prizes. And here . . The Results.
