July 19th, 2007: Standard Chartered Great City 5k
Posted by Chris Phelan at 6:05 pmA group of SLH runners took part in the Standard Chartered Great City Race on 19 July in London, representing their various companies. It’s a reasonably fast 5K race, though with about 5000 competitors the start was a bit congested!!

July 15th, 2007: Elmbridge 10k Jason Simpson takes another victory
Posted by Chris Phelan at 12:29 pmJason Simpson collected a very attractive trophy and prize in recognition of another great victory in this season’s Surrey Road League fixtures. Jason finished in a time of 32:16 taking apart a very strong field of local runners. There was a head wind for the first 5km and a pleasant tail wind along the tow path to the finish. Sonia O’Sullivan was first lady. Stragglers won the Men’s team. SLH got 3rd Men’s team behind Ranelagh. First lady’s team was THH. Lots of SLH ran. More when the results become available.
