February 8th, 2010: Press Release : Inter-Counties Schools Races
Posted by Brian and Viv at 4:20 pmA number of young athletes from South London Harriers represented Surrey in the Inter-Counties schools’ races held at Reigate Priory on Saturday.
Loulou Rowlands, in her first race back following a long lay-off with injury, won the Senior Girls’ event with Grace O’Leary finishing third and enabling the Surrey team to win the event.
Helen Wilson finished 7th in the Intermediate Girls’ race, again helping Surrey to Victory.
Another strong run from Tom Holden saw him finish third in the Junior Boys’ event in which Surrey were second team.
Adam Gye was 39th in the Senior Boys race.
In last week’s London Schools’ Cross Country, Maria Kavanagh was 11th.
