December 14th, 2007: BOXING DAY HANDICAP
Posted by Chris Phelan at 10:16 pmThe Boxing day Handicap is a race of just over 2 miles, mainly in Happy Valley. The start is staggered, with the slowest runners starting first, the faster runners some time afterwards. Everyone of all ages are welcome to run, including friends and family. The start is at the bottom of the “Ski Slope“, near to the car park at the top of Farthing Downs.
The first runner leaves at 11 a.m. Please collect your numbers and start time from SLH’s Coulsdon Clubhouse, Brighton Road from 10.00-10.30 a.m.
You are invited to bring a wrapped present, value around 3 pounds; these will be distributed in the clubhouse bar after the race.
If the weather has been wet, be prepared for some muddy sections!
