December 4th, 2007: MARRIOTT MISSES CRYSTAL PALACE CANTER BRITISH RECORD BY 1 SECOND
Posted by Chris Phelan at 9:43 pmOn a cold and windy day Ray Marriott (V50) just missed setting a new British record at this challenging race. Running completely on his own Ray smashed the VM50 record and broke his own by 20 seconds. His time of 15.46 is one second slower than that set by Tim Boardman, a senior man, in much better conditions. The age grading was 92.1%.
