May 13th, 2007: Jason Simpson Surrey County Half Marathon Champion
Posted by Chris Phelan at 5:21 pmJason Simpson ran a ‘time trial’ to blow away the rest of the field in the Ranelagh Half Marathon in a time of 68:58. Jason’s nearest rival was over two minutes down the field. Producing such an effort running 12 of the 13 miles on his own shows huge ability. Well done.
Jason was also the first Vet and left with enough medals for all the family to wear. SLH also took Gold Medals in the Surrey County Half Marathon Championships with Chris Phelan and Mark Farmer completing the team.
