May 2nd, 2007: Rosenheim track meeting
Posted by Chris Phelan at 1:55 pmRead Paul Mitchell’s report on the first Rosenheim track meeting below:
It was a small team who flew the flag for SLH at the first Rosenheim track meeting. Put it like this - we didn’t have a team for the 4×2 relay unless we’d have roped in a garrulous 71-year old, or one of the ladies (one of whom is 8 months pregnant!).
I managed to score an impressive run of 5 last places, 4 of them personal worsts, whilst Tom came second in the 1500m and Lee 4th scorer in the 3,000m. But definitely the SLH result of the evening was Michelle’s PB in the 1500m, by about 10 seconds.
Results:
2K steeplechase Paul Mitchell 7:55.4 5th of 5
800m Paul Mitchell 2:42.7 6th of 6
100m Paul Mitchell 14.6 6th of 6
400m Paul Mitchell 1:12.7 6th of 6
1500m Tom Jenkins 4:09.7 2nd of 6
1500m Michelle Jenkins 5:04.6 (non-score)
200m Paul Mitchell 32.3 6th of 6
3000m Lee Morgan 9:52.3 4th of 6
3000m Paul Mitchell 10:50.3 (non score)

Herne Hill incidentally were just 8 points from a maximum score.
As for those who know her, Clare Pauzers of Herne Hill ran 4:55.7 in the 1500m.
